Wolfpack Suffers Late Loss to Bancroft-Rosalie Panthers

The Tri County Northeast Wolfpack faced a tough test at home on Monday, January 5, falling 73-48 to the Bancroft-Rosalie Panthers in non-conference boys basketball action at Emerson-Hubbard High School.

TCNE worked to stay competitive early but struggled to find consistent offense against a disciplined Panthers defense. The Wolfpack finished the night shooting 49% from the field, 12% from three-point range, and 36% at the free-throw line.

Senior Thatcher Lamp led the Wolfpack in scoring with 16 points, while sophomore Tucker Anderson had 11 and junior Landyn Servine added 12 points. TCNE spread its scoring across the lineup, with contributions also coming from Logan Morgan, Blake Kneifl, Knox Lamp, and Jude Ridenour.

On the boards, the Wolfpack were led by strong rebounding efforts from Landyn Servine and Thatcher Lamp, helping TCNE finish with 29 total rebounds. Defensively, the Wolfpack recorded nine steals and one block, working to create extra possessions despite the scoring gap.

TCNE finished with four assists and 12 turnovers on the night, continuing to look for improved ball movement and offensive rhythm as the season progresses.

The Wolfpack will look to regroup quickly as they prepare for a busy week ahead, aiming to turn defensive energy into more efficient scoring opportunities moving forward.
