The Tri County Northeast Wolfpack saw a strong second-half push come up short Friday night as they fell 80–60 to the visiting Pender Pendragons in non-conference action on February 13.

Tri County Northeast showed its best stretch of the night in the third quarter, scoring 18 points and working to cut into the deficit. However, Pender answered with a 30-point frame of its own to regain control heading into the final period. The Pendragons closed the game with a strong fourth quarter to seal the 20-point victory.
Senior Thatcher Lamp led the Wolfpack offensively with nine points while also pulling down seven rebounds and dishing out five assists. Junior Landyn Servine added seventeen points and five rebounds, and Devin Reinert contributed 14 points while knocking down four three-pointers. Jude Ridenour chipped in six points on efficient shooting, and Tucker Anderson provided a spark with seven points and solid play at the free-throw line.
As a team, TCNE connected on 40 percent of its shots from the field and went 10-of-18 from the free-throw line. The Wolfpack also collected 25 rebounds and recorded 16 assists, showing good ball movement throughout the contest.
Defensively, Thatcher Lamp led the way with two steals and two blocks, while Landyn Servine added a steal and three deflections. The Wolfpack worked hard on the boards and in transition but struggled to slow Pender’s balanced scoring attack, especially during the pivotal third quarter.
Despite the loss, TCNE showed resilience and continued to battle until the final buzzer.
