Bloomfield Ends TCNE Tournament Run in Second Round of Lewis & Clark Conference Tournament

The Tri County Northeast Lady Wolfpack saw their run in the Lewis & Clark Conference Tournament come to an end on Monday night, February 2, 2026, as they fell 67-26 to the Bloomfield Lady Bees in second-round action.

Bloomfield set the tone early with strong defensive pressure and efficient scoring, building a steady lead that proved difficult for the Wolfpack to overcome. The Lady Bees controlled the tempo throughout the contest and capitalized on turnovers and fast-break opportunities.

TCNE struggled to find a consistent rhythm on offense, shooting 24 percent from the field and just 14 percent from three-point range. The Wolfpack finished the night 9-of-37 from the floor and 2-of-14 from beyond the arc. Free throws provided some help, as the team connected on 6-of-11 attempts.

Junior Joslyn Mackling led the Wolfpack with eight points, adding three rebounds and two steals. Briley Anderson contributed eleven points and a team-high six rebounds, while sophomore Maddie Franzluebers was perfect from the field, scoring four points on 2-of-2 shooting. Aubrey Mitchell chipped in three points and four rebounds.

Despite the offensive challenges, TCNE showed effort on the defensive end, recording nine steals as a team. Mackling, A. Mitchell, and Samantha Rastede each finished with two steals, helping disrupt Bloomfield’s passing lanes at times.

Rebounding was another bright spot for the Wolfpack, as they collected 23 total boards, including 18 on the defensive end. Anderson, Emily Mitchell, and Aubrey Mitchell each played key roles on the glass.

Bloomfield’s balanced scoring and strong interior play proved too much, however, as the Lady Bees continued to pull away in the second half to secure the victory and advance in tournament play.

With the loss, the Lady Wolfpack will play for 5th place in the tournament on Thursday February 5th taking on the Wausa Lady Vikings at Wausa High School at 6 pm.
