Tri County Northeast Lady Wolfpack was unable to snap its skid Thursday night, falling to the Wausa Lady Vikings 52–31 in girls varsity basketball action.
The loss marked the Wolfpack’s eighth straight defeat and echoed last season’s meeting between the two teams, when Wausa also came away with a 45–30 victory.
Tri County Northeast fought to stay within reach but struggled to generate consistent offense against Wausa’s defensive pressure. The loss dropped the Wolfpack’s record to 3–12 on the season, while the Vikings improved to 7–8 with their third consecutive road win.
The Wolfpack will look to regroup when they host Walthill on Monday at 6 p.m.
