Just one week after setting new program records, the Wolfpack boy’s and girl’s set the bar even higher at the Pender Invitational.
Four athletes earned medals. Three in the top ten, and one just short at eleventh place, setting a first-time accomplishment.
The girls’ team finished fourth on the day, and the boys’ team just missed a runner-up plaque finishing third to Oakland-Craig.
Senior, Alejandra Hermosillo placed 8th in the girls’ competition, while Jude Ridenour and Alex Snyder placed 8th and 9th respectively in the boy’s division. Senior Rachael Bousquet nabbed 11th place just missing out on a top ten finish in the girls’ division.
Sophomore, Tucker Anderson crushed his best time, running nearly 2 minutes under any previous time that he has posted. Sophomore Hailey Millard also hit a career mark, dropping one full minute off any previous time she had posted.
Matthew Bousquet, Logan Kraemer, and Chloe Peters also flirted with their personal best times, but just couldn’t quite reach them on a day when all nine Wolfpack runners seemed to be clicking.

COACHES COMMENTS:
“Both Coach Brentlinger and I were very impressed with all the effort shown today. This group is slowly getting better each time they compete and are challenging themselves personally. It is the midpoint of the season, and things look promising heading into the latter part of the season. Great Day TEAM!”
