Wolfpack start season at Logan View Invite

The Tri County Northeast cross country team participated in the Logan View invitational on Thursday August 27^th.  The boys team finished 13^th place out of 16 teams. Team scoring required a team to have at least four runners which is why the girls did not receive a team score.

Girls team was led by Freshman Karlee Duncan who placed 52^nd with a time of 26:21.9. Great first meet performance by her and excited to see how she improves throughout the season.

Followed by Duncan’s performance were juniors Hailey Millard with a time of 27:44.4 finishing in 64^th place, and Chloe Peters with a time of 28:01.3 in 69^th place.

Highlights of the day for the boys were Jude Ridenour posting a time of 18:31.7 good enough for a 12^th place medal in a really competitive meet.

Other Wolfpack boy runners were Alan Figueroa finishing 90^th place with a time of 22:01.6, Tucker Anderson finishing 117^th place with a time of 23:30.1, Matthew Bousquet finishes 132^nd with a time of 24:13.4, and Timothy Peters in 151^st with a time of 26:02.2.

Junior High athletes were also in attendance today. The girls were represented by Ingrid Speiser in a time of 6:19.0 good enough for 12^th place and Jayden Wilcox with a time of 6:46.9 good enough for 23^rd out of 59 total runners.   The single boy Junior High runner was Mikey Ridenour posting a time of 6:11.1 and finishing 26^th place out of 73 runners.

Next action for the Wolfpack cross country team is Thursday September 3^rd at the Wisner Park.  Meet time is scheduled for 9:30am, which is a change to the original start time and location.
