Jude Ridenour competes at the State Meet in Kearney…
Launch the media gallery 1 playerJude had his goals set at the beginning of the year. Medal in every meet. Make the state meet again. Better his time and place than last year’s state meet.
All were accomplished this last week on Friday in Kearney. Jude ran his state meet record time of 18:31.9 and placed 25 spots ahead of his previous best placing at the state meet in 45th.
I was extremely proud of his efforts and accomplishments all season long. He is a true competitor and worked hard for everything he earned.
As a coach, Jude will be hard to replace. He came to practice encouraging his teammates as well pushing them to their max. As someone who has all the male records for every course we run, his name will be cemented in our school records for a long time.
Congrats Jude!
