Wolfpack Go Undefeated at Bancroft-Rosalie Triangular

Wolfpack Go Undefeated at Bancroft-Rosalie Triangular

The TCNE Wolfpack continued their strong late-season push with a dominant showing at the Bancroft-Rosalie Triangular on Tuesday, October 7th. The Wolfpack swept both of their matches—defeating the Walthill BluJays and the host Bancroft-Rosalie Panthers—to secure a perfect 2-0 record on the night.

In their first matchup of the evening, TCNE wasted no time asserting control over Walthill, claiming the match in straight sets, 25-6 and 25-19. The Pack’s offense was firing on all cylinders, led by outside hitter Joslyn Mackling, who hammered down 13 kills to pace the attack. The Wolfpack’s serving game was a major factor in the win, as the team tallied 11 aces, with Maddie Franzluebbers and Briley Anderson each delivering three.

Defensively, middle hitter Delaney Fuchser notched the team’s only successful block, while Mackling anchored the back row with 13 digs and an impressive 23 serve-receive passes. Setting up the offense with precision was Ally Belt, who finished the match with 20 assists.

TCNE’s confidence carried seamlessly into the nightcap against Bancroft-Rosalie. Though the host Panthers put up a fight, the Wolfpack held strong in key moments to take another straight-set victory, 26-24 and 25-23. The offensive balance was on full display—Mackling once again led the charge with 12 kills, while fellow outside hitter Kiya Tornez added 9 of her own to keep the Panthers’ defense on its heels.

The Wolfpack’s serving game remained sharp, totaling 6 aces, led by middle hitter Briley Anderson with two. Jayda Stallbaum provided a spark at the net with the team’s lone block of the match. Mackling repeated her defensive dominance, recording 13 digs and 23 serve-receive passes, while Belt matched her earlier performance with another 20 assists.

With the sweep, the Wolfpack showcased their depth, discipline, and resilience—proving they can win both with power and precision. As the regular season winds down, TCNE, now 14-3, looks poised and ready to carry their momentum into conference and postseason play.

The Wolfpack continues a very busy week hosting the Homer Lady Knights in a Pink Out dual on Thursday October 9th and are on the road Saturday October 11th for the Hartington-Newcastle Tournament.
