NEBRASKA SCHOOL ACTIVITIES ASSOCIATION

C-1 District Wrestling Championships

Date: Saturday February 13th

 

Weigh-in: 9:30 am

Gate Opens:  Adults $8.00 Students $6.00

10:00 am (for fans with tickets) - -

10:30 am for General Admission

Start Time: 11:00 am

Schedule:  

Round 1 -Championship Quarterfinals (2 mats)
Round 2 -Championship Semi-Finals, 1 st Round Consolation (2 mats)
Round 3 -Consolation Semi-Finals (2 mats)
Round 4 -Championship Finals, 3 rd Place Matches (2 mats)

Grand Island Central Catholic, Madison, Nebraska Christian, North Bend Central, St.
Paul, Tekamah-Herman, Tri County, Tri County Northeast, Wisner-Pilger, Wood River

 

Awards

● Plaques will be presented to team champion and runner-up.
● Top 4 wrestlers will medal and advance to the State Tournament
● We will have the Medal Presentation following the Finals.
Other
● No coolers, bags, pillows, etc. in the gym. Please keep in the Team Areas
● Fans are not allowed to bring outside food or coolers into the Facility.

 

Attendance at the NSAA C-1 District Final is limited to 6 people per wrestler for participating Athletes. As well as a limited number of General Admission Tickets.

 

This information will adjust as needed to meet DHM & NSAA Guidelines - Effective on 1/4/2021


● Spectators are required to wear face coverings at all times while attending indoor events.
● Face coverings must cover the nose and mouth.
● Stay home if you do not wear a mask
● Sit in your Family Group
● Practice 6 feet of Social Distancing from other Family Groups
● Attendance at Middle School Activities and for Wrestling Tournaments will be adjusted to meet capacity standards.


 

The NSAA has implemented the following requirements for host schools for All Winter Season Activities:

• Active participants are permitted, but not required, to wear face coverings during competition/performance.
• Coaches, Trainers, Game Workers and non-active participants (those not currently on the court, mat or stage) are required to wear face coverings at all times.
• Spectators are required to wear face coverings at all times while attending indoor events.
• Face coverings must cover the nose and mouth.
• Attendance standards will be followed as presented from the NSAA
• The host school may establish additional requirements in consultation with local health departments. Additional requirements implemented by the host school must be the same for all schools, officials, judges, and spectators.

 

Accommodations: Team and Fan entrances will be separate

• Please Follow the respective signs at our Facility
• Locker Rooms will be available as needed
• We will be sharing the Restrooms and Concession stand
• Please make the best personal choice for yourself
• No Team Meals or outside food will be allowed in our Facility
• Please bring your own Water bottles to our Facility
