Wolfpack Goes Down Fighting at Sub-District Final Against Humphrey/Lindsey Holy Family

The Tri County Northeast Wolfpack Volleyball team traveled to Humphrey for the D1-3 sub-district finals against Humphrey/Lindsey Holy Family on Tuesday October 27, 2020.  The Wolfpack once again had a slo start to the game going down in the first set 13-25.  The second set seemed much improved with Humphrey/Lindsey Holy Family taking it only by 2 this tiem, 23-25.  The third set seemed to be the game changer as the Wolfpack outscored the Bulldogs 25-19, at one point coming back from a ten point deficit.  Although the team rallied together, they were unable to pull off the victory in the end with the Bulldogs taking the last set 24-26.

Leading in kills on the night was Alli Jackson with 15, followed closely by Jordyn Carr with 13.  Rhyanne Mackling added 3 where as Carly Dickens had 2 and Jazmin Delatorre and Brianna Bousquet each had 1.  

In the 3rd set, Jordyn Carr went on a serving spree racking up multiple ace serves in a row.  She had 5 total ace serves on the night.  Carly Dickens recorded 2 ace serves and Delatorre added 1.  

Carly Dickens added 30 set assists on her last game for the Wolfpack.  Rhyanne Mackling had 1 set assist on the night.  

 

Coach Greve's comments:  "The girls put their hearts on the court and gavie it their all.  I am so proud of how far they have come this season!"

 

The Wolfpack ends their 2020 season with a 12-16 record.
