Results of the 2026 Nebraska Junior Academy of Sciences State Science Fair

On April 23rd three students from Allen Consolidated schools competed in the Nebraska State Science Fair.  Allen Consolidated Schools was represented by two students in the Junior Division; Micheal Ridenour and Cheyenne Sullivan.  Kaelyn Ankeny was the lone participant in the Senior Division. This was the largest state science fair with 95 Projects from across the state of Nebraska competing in the Junior & Senior Divisions.  Students are awarded ribbons in three levels Purple, Blue, and Red Ribbons. With the Purple Ribbon being the highest award.

• Micheal Ridenour: Blue Ribbon, United States Department of Agriculture Award 

• Cheyenne Sullivan: Blue Ribbon, $2500 University of Nebraska Department of Food Science and Technology Scholarship, United States Air Force Award.
