Wolfpack Girls Go 1-1 At Summerland Holiday Tournament

Wolfpack Girls Go 1-1 at Summerland Holiday Tournament

The Tri County Northeast girls basketball team competed at the Summerland Holiday Tournament on December 28th and 30th.  The Wolfpack lost their first game of the tournament against Chambers/Wheeler-Central 30-63.  In their second game of the tournament, the Wolfpack girls beat Walthill 62-22.

From the start of this game, the Wolfpack had a hard time keeping up with the girls from Chambers/Wheeler-Central.  By halftime, the Wolfpack was down by 19 points.  After half time, the Wolfpack just could not come back from the points deficit at half, losing the game 30-63.

Points leader during this game was Jordyn Carr with 21. 

Carr and Ryanne Mackling each led in assists with 7 each.  Both girls had 1 offensive and 6 defensive rebounds. 

Taylor Boyle had the 1 and only assist during the game.  Jordyn Carr led in steals with 4.

 

Wolfpack vs. Walthill

In the second day of the tournament, the Wolfpack faced fellow conference mates, the Walthill Lady Blujays.  The Wolfpack played hard, coming out much stronger than the game before.  By halftime the Wolfpack held the Blujays to only 10 points.  The final score of the game was TCNE- 62, Walthill- 22.

Leading scorer during this game was once again Jordyn Carr with 23. 

Brynn Schock and Codi Olson in rebounds with 10 each.  Schock with 3 offensive and 7 defensive and Olson with 5 of each. 

Carr led her team in assists with 4 as well as steals with 7.
