LADY TROJANS LOSE IN 1ST ROUND OF SUB-DISTRICTS
The Wakefield-Allen Lady Trojans played their final game together on Tuesday February 18th. They traveled to Wisner-Pilger High School to face the Winnebago Lady Indians in the first round of sub-districts. The game started off fairly close with an attainable victory in sight for the Lady Trojans. By half, the score was Winnebago 22, W-A 15. After half, the Lady Indians kept up their momentum, outscoring the Lady Trojans in both the 3rd and 4th periods, holding Wakefield-Allen to only 9 points each period. The final score was Winnebago 51, Wakefield-Allen 33.

Points leader on the night for Wakefield-Allen was Jordyn Carr with 22. As a team, the Lady Trojans only shot 19% on the night.
The Lady Trojan leading rebounder was Jordyn Carr with 6, 2 offensive and 4 defensive. Alex Arenas and Aishah Valenzuela also hit the boards strong each racking up 5 rebounds for the team.
Rachel Borg and Valenzuela led in assists on the night with 2 each while Alex Arenas put up the one and only block recorded by the Lady Trojans during the game.
The Wakefield-Allen Trojans end their season 12-9.
