EAGLES IMPROVE THEIR RECORD WITH A WIN OVER O'NEILL ST. MARY'S

The Eagles started off slow, trailing St.Mary's 7-8 at the end of the first period but were able to rally back before half time leading 27-15. The Eagles fell shortly behind coming into the 3rd but had a strong 4th period ultimately leading to a victory. The final score was Allen 57, St. Mary's 42.

Points leader for the Eagles was Lukas Oswald with 19. Brogan Jones also had a strong shooting night adding 10 while Kobe Kumm had 9. The Eagles shot 51% over all on the night and 70% from the free throw line.
Lukas Oswald was strong on the boards during the game leading in rebounds with 11 (3 offensive, 8 defensive). Brogan Jones added 7 rebounds (2 offensive, 5 defensive).
Kobe Kumm led the Eagles in assists with 4. He also led in steals with 2 as did Noah Carr.
Coach Blohm's Comments: "We had another slow start against St. Mary's, but were able to settle down and execute offensively. Usually we rely on our defense to make big plays, it was nice to finally see our offense get rolling. Lukas Oswald had a season high 17 points and 11 rebounds. Our defense did step up when we needed it, taking another 3 charges in the game. Bringing our total to 16 in 6 games. Great win against a very talented team."
