6th GRADERS STUDY ENERGY TRANSFORMATIONS
Launch the media gallery 1 playerLast week, 6th graders were introduced to their new science unit, Energy Transformations, by having to build a homopolar motor using a battery, copper wire, and neodymium magnets. They worked in pairs to get their motors up and running. It was a great lesson in patience and trial and error!
