Allen Students Visit Washington D.C.
Six students and six adults from Allen traveled to Washington DC July 30 to August 2 with an organization called World Classrooms. The participants included Erika Pojar, Kaelyn Ankeny, Heidi Ankeny, Cora Ridenour, Shannon Ridenour, Logan Kramer, Greta Kramer, Doug Kramer, James Warner, Jacob Warner, Monica Warner, and Gary Boehle. The group visited many memorials as well as Gettysburg and Arlington National Cemetery. Logan and Kaelyn even won special "Dundy" awards!
