Wolfpack Compete at the Wayne “Mac” Invitational
The Wolfpack finished a busy week by competing at the Wayne Invitational on Thursday, May 8th. The tournament was stacked with Class B and C Schools.
Leading the Wolfpack was Senior Ben Jorgensen. Jorgensen shot a 40 38 for a total of 78. With a 78, Jorgensen tied for 5th but received 7th place after a scorecard playoff.
Sophomore Landyn Servine was only 2 strokes away from placing shooting a 42 46 for a total of 88. Servine ended up tying at 24th place but received 28th place after a scorecard playoff. Senior Gabe Olesen finished with a 97, freshman Braxton Sebade 104, and sophomore Jaxon Hall 106.
The team ended the tournament with a 367, earning 10th out of 16 teams.
The Wolfpack will have a busy week ahead with a Quad in Ponca on Monday, Wakefield Invite in Wayne on Tuesday, and back to Ponca on Wednesday for their Invite before District Competition at Fairplay in Norfolk on Monday, May 19th.
