Laurel-Concord-Coleridge 5th and 6th Grade Honor Band - March 14, 2024

On Thursday, March 14th, the 5th and 6th grade will be attending the Laurel-Concord-Coleridge 5th and 6th Grade Honor Band. Students will eat lunch at school and then travel to Coleridge. Our first rehearsal will start at 12:45 pm. Students will also be fed dinner before the concert.
The final concert will be held at 5:30 pm in the LCC Middle School Gym in Coleridge. Admission for the concert will be $4.00 for adults and $3.00 for students. Lewis & Clark Conference passes will be honored. Family and friends are encouraged to attend.
We will bus students to and from the Honor Band. If you attend and want your child to ride home with you, please notify me at the concert and sign the parents list. If your child is riding the bus home, they will be back shortly after 7 pm.
Students are asked to wear jeans that day. Students will be given a T-shirt the day of to wear for their concert. Students should bring a water bottle with them. There will be a concession stand during the day for students to buy treats and snacks.
Here is the schedule for the day:
11:15 am – Students will eat lunch at School
11:45 am – Load busses and depart for Coleridge
12:30 pm - Students arrive and unload
12:45 pm - 1st rehearsal (Full Band)
1:45 pm - 1st break
2:00 pm - 2nd rehearsal (percussion go to band room)
2:45 pm - 2nd break
3:00 pm - 3rd rehearsal (Full Band)
4:00 pm - Dinner
4:45 pm - final rehearsal
5:15 pm - Seated for concert
5:30 pm – Concert
6:30 pm – Load busses and depart for Allen
7:00 pm – Arrive in Allen
