FFA Land Judging Results & State Qualifiers
Land Judging is a competition that challenges students to gain a better understanding of soil structure and land evaluation. Land Judging enables each participant to learn how to recognize the physical features of the soil, determine the land capability for crop production and evaluate management practices needed for proper stewardship of the land.
On October 5th, the Allen FFA Chapter sent students to compete at the Area Land Judging contest held in Howells, NE. There was a total of 532 FFA members from various schools in Northeast Nebraska that competed as well.
