FFA LIVESTOCK JUDGING RESULTS
Congratulations to our Senior Livestock Judging Team for placing 4th at Districts and qualifying for State Convention. Individual Results - Dillon Borg (2nd), Wyatt Verzani (9th), Hunter Borg (24th) and Cole Woodward (40th).

(Allen) The livestock evaluation contest functions to test students' abilities to identify, evaluate, and discuss relative differences in breeding and market livestock. Students had to rank 6 classes of livestock (cattle, swine and sheep), evaluate 2 sets of cull/keep breeding animals, answer 2 sets of questions, prepare and deliver oral reasons and complete a 25-question exam related to livestock selection and evaluation.
The Allen - Wakefield FFA Chapter sent 16 students to compete at the recently held district contest at Northeast Community College in Norfolk, NE, along with an additional 495 students from other schools. The Junior team (Brody Floyd, Caidan Gregg, Joe Grone, Sarah Papke, Makaya Johnson, Cheyenne Keil, Kaleb Kumm and Cole Verzani ) placed 15th overall, while the Senior team (Dillon Borg, Mitchell Fischer, Wyatt Verzani, Cole Woodward, Jacob Anderson, Hunter Borg, Brock Floyd and Austin Gregerson) placed 4th overall, qualifying for the Nebraska State FFA Convention in April. Dillon Borg was Allen – Wakefield’s top individual, placing 2nd overall in the Senior division, while Wyatt Verzani placed 9th overall in the Senior division.
