LADY TROJANS END SEASON IN 2ND ROUND OF SUB-DISTRICTS

They traveled to Wisner-Pilger high school to face the Logan View-Scribner Snyder team. The Lady Trojans came out fast and furious during the first set over taking LVSS 25-17 however, they struggled to take the win in the following 3 sets. Logan-View/Scribner-Snyder won the game 3-1. Set scores: Set 1- W/A 25-LVSS 17; Set 2- W/A 21-LVSS 25; Set 3- W/A 14- LVSS 25; Set 4- W/A 22, LVSS 25. The Lady Trojans end their season with a 19-13 record.
Offensively, the Lady Trojans hit at .157 on the night. Jordyn Carr was the Lady Trojan kill leader with 13 followed closely by Hayden Ekberg with 11 and Alli Jackson with 10. Both Jackson and Carr nailed 3 ace serves during the game while Chelly Dominguez and Carly Dickens each added 2 aces.
Defensively, libero, Aishah Valenzuela racked up 23 digs and 17 serve receive passes. Jordyn Carr was also a key defender for the Lady Trojans with 11 digs and 29 serve receives. No blocks were recorded during this match up.
