Competitive Speech News

The Wolfpack speech team consists of 7 students from Allen and Emerson-Hubbard schools. These youth are very busy in multiple school activities, so we have yet to attend a speech meet with a full team. The public is invited to a showcase in Emerson on March 5 at 7 P.M. to see the work these students have put forth this season. The team will compete at C-2 Districts in Bancroft on March 13. 

Results by meet:

Hartington Invite - Olivia Dekok &  Shantel Miller earned 6^th in JV Duet Acting. Devon Lewellen earned 4^th in JV Humorous Prose. Gabe Olesen earned 5^th in the Honor finals in Serious Prose. Calie Cockburn & Codi Olson earned 4^th place in JV Duet Acting. Rhyanne Mackling & Jenni Olson earned 6^th place in the Honor finals in Duet Acting.

Homer Invite - Gabe Olesen earned 2^nd place in Serious Prose.

Wakefield Sweet Meet - Gabe Olesen earned 3^rd place in Serious Prose. Mia Harral earned 3^rd place in JV Informative Speaking. 

Gator Gab Fest- Gabe Olesen earned 2^nd place in the White finals of Serious Prose, which is 9^th overall out of 30 competitors.
