Wolfpack Girls Basketball Goes Down Against Cedar Catholic

 

The Wolfpack girls basketball team hosted the Cedar Catholic Trojans at home in Allen on Saturday January 9th.  The Trojans dominated the first half of the game early on, outscoring the Wolfpack by 10 points after the first quarter.  By halftime, the Wolfpack had a large deficit to make up with the score being CC-28, TCNE- 12.  The second half was better for the Wolfpack in that they were only outscored a few points each quarter.  In the end, they just could not make up for it and fell to the Trojans 45-27.

Points by Quarter:

Q1-  TCNE- 7, CC-17    Q2- TCNE- 5, CC- 11    Q3- TCNE- 7, CC- 9    Q4- TCNE-4,  CC- 4

Points leader on the night for the Wolfpack was once again Jordyn Carr with 14.  This is down a few points from her game average. 

The leading rebounder for the Wolfpack on the night was Alli Jackson with 7.  This included 3 offensive and 4 defensive rebounds.  One assist was recorded on the night by Jordyn Carr.  Carr and Ryanne Mackling also led their team in steals with 4 each.

The Wolfpack looks forward to a busy week coming up, hosting Winnebago in Emerson on January 12th and then hosting Whiting, Iowa on Saturday January 16th also in Emerson.
