Wolfpack Girls Basketball Faces 1st Loss at LCC
Launch the media gallery 1 playerThe Tri County Northeast Wolfpack girls basketball team traveled to Laurel-Concord-Coleridge to face the Bears on Friday December 11, 2020. The game started out close in the 1st quarter with the Bears only leading by 2. The Wolfpack was unable to get a steady rhythm in the 2nd and were down by 10 points going into half, with the score being Wolfpack 9, LCC 19. The 3rd quarter deemed to be a game sealer for the Bears as they outscored the Wolfpack 21-9. The Wolfpack tried to make a comeback in the 4th outscoring the Bears 17-7 however in the end, the Bears held onto the win. The final score was Wolfpack- 35, Bears 47.
Points leader for the Wolfpack was Jordyn Carr with 13 followed by Ryanne Mackling with 10.
Carr also led her team in rebounds with 11 (3 offensive and 8 defensive) as well as assists with 2. She also led in steals with 4.
The Wolfpack looks forward to another busy week. They are at Hartington-Newcastle on Tuesday December 15th and have their first home game in Allen on Friday December 18th against Ponca.
