Wolfpack Girls Basketball Annihilates Cedar Bluffs

Jordyn CarrThe Tri County Northeast Girls Wolfpack basketball team traveled to Cedar Bluffs to face the Wildcats on Monday December 7th. The Wolfpack took a very early lead in the first quarter holding the Wildcats to 0 points. The Wildcats were able to score a few buckets during the second but, the Wolfpack kept on scoring. The half time score had the Wolfpack leading 37 to 8. Coach Colfack was able to utilize his bench in the 2nd half of the game allowing for younger players to get some varsity time, specifically in the fourth quarter. The final score was Tri County Northeast 56, Cedar Bluffs 14.
Points leader for the Wolfpack was junior, Jordyn Carr with 20. Ryanne Mackling was close behind with 14. Carr also led the team in rebounds with 8. Mackling and Brynn Shock were key rebounders on the night each with 4 and Alli Jackson added 3.
Carr also led the team in assists with 4 and steals with 13.
The Wolfpack looks forward to a good game this Friday at Laurel-Concord-Coleridge.
