Alli Jackson Signed with Northern State University
Launch the media gallery 1 playerAlli Jackson, daughter of Jay and Holli Jackson of Allen, has signed a letter of intent to run track at Northern State University in Aberdeen, South Dakota.
Alli, a senior, will compete for the Tri County Northeast Wolfpack girls track team this spring. She medaled at the Nebraska State Track and field meet in the 400 and 800 meter runs as a freshmen and sophomore. Covid-19 kept her from making a straight year of gathering a medal.
Alli also is the two-time defending Lewis & Clark champion in the 400-meter and 800-meter events. Because of Covid-19 last spring, Jackson did not get to defend her two-time, two event championships, and possibly be a dual event winner, four consecutive years.
"Alli, is a hard-working, goal driven individual. She is strong willed mentally and will work to achieve what she believes is attainable. We expect good things from Alli this upcoming spring.", states coach Dave Uldrich. "She is the epitome of what coaches hope for. Give her the challenge, she takes it and goes with it."
