Wolfpack Defeats Cedar Bluffs in 3 Sets!
The Wolfpack hosted the Cedar Bluffs Wildcats at Emerson-Hubbard high school on Saturday October 3rd. The Wolfpack was able to rally early outscoring the Wildcats 25-15 in the first set. Even though the Wildcats proved be more competitive during the 2nd set, the Wolfpack pulled off a 25-20 win. In the final set, the Wolfpack dominated taking the game 25-14.
Alli Jackson and Jordyn Carr tied as kill leaders during the game each with 11. Jazmin Delatorre added 5 kills while Brynn Shock had 1.
Setter Carly Dickens had 26 assists on the night.
The Wolfpack were dominate behind the serving line racking up 13 ace serves during the game. Dickens and Carr each recoded 4 ace serves, Brianna Novak had 3, and Alli Jackson and Jazmin Delatorre each had 1 ace.
Coach Greve's Comments: "We had a lot of girls step up and play hard defensively to keep the ball alive".
The Wolfpack will travel to Wynot for a triangular on Tuesday October 6th and then will got to Homer for B-A action on Thursday October 8th.
