Wolfpack Goes 0-2 at Neligh-Oakdale Triangular
The Tri County Northeast Wolfpack varsity volleyball team traveled to Neligh-Oakdale on Thursday October 1st for a triangular with Neligh-Oakdale and Pender. The team struggled in the first game with Neligh-Oakdale losing in 2 sets (16-25; 18-25). Coach Greve stated that "we just made too many errors to be competitive in this game. Serving, hitting, and communication".
Alli Jackson led this match in kills with 9 while Jordyn Carr added 7 and Carly Dickens had 1. Dickens had 14 assists. Carr had 2 ace serves.
During the game with Pender, the Wolfpack seemed to take it up a notch taking the game to 3 sets with a second set win however, Pender was victorious in the end. Set scores: Set 1- Wolfpack 19, Pender 25; Set 2- Wolfpack- 25, Pender 17; Set 3- Wolfpack 14, Pender 25.
Alli Jackson once again led the Wolfpack in kills during this game with 13. Jordyn Carr added 7 more kills while Brianna Bousquet and Carly Dickens had 3. Brynn Shock and Rhyanne Mackling each had a kill on the night.
Setter Carly Dickens added 18 assists on the night and led in serves with 3 aces. Jackson added an ace serve as well.
