Coaches Comments
As a staff, we felt that from top to bottom we had one of our best tournaments of the season. The team scores and medal count may not necessarily reflect that, but we had a lot of kids wrestle the best they ever have. We saw several encouraging performances and are excited for the home stretch of the season. Wyatt Verzani wrestled a whale of a tournament and showed that he is ready to make a postseason run. We suffered a few injuries during the week, which look to be season ending, which is very disappointing for those kids. We are going to have to have everybody step up to make up those lost points.
