Brogan Jones led the boys team with four gold medals. Noah Carr gathered three and a silver. Junior, Avery Fredericksen, won three golds and a silver as well. Senior, Devin Twohig, collected three golds and a fourth place medal. Several other athletes collected multiple medals on the day and will jump in the vehicles heading to Omaha. (see results)

Jackson also anchored the girls 4X400 relay to a runner-up finish, while posting the third fastest time in Class D at 4:18.82. (see results)

COACHES COMMENTS:
“Wow!!!!!! 1/3 of our track squads qualified today, and the coaches are so happy for them. If all goes well in Omaha, we believe we could win 22 medals. The non-qualifying athletes gave us some great effort today and all year and are not to be forgotten. Thanks to the athletes showing up daily, “and getting better daily”. Parental support at the district meet was amazing as well. Thanks for allowing the coaches to work with you children, as we considered it a great privilege…..GOOD LUCK AT STATE EAGLES!”
