The Lady Eagles lost to Osmond in the first round of the Lewis & Clark basketball tournament on Saturday January 27 thus leading them to the consolation game with Emerson-Hubbard on Tuesday January 30.  The Lady Pirates came out leading the Lady Eagles by 6 in the first quarter.  There was a two to three minute span in which Emerson-Hubbard only played with four girls due to an injury early on.  Allen outscored E/H in both the 2nd and 4th quarters winning by 3!  The final score was Allen 41, E/H 38.

Points by Quarter:

Q1:  Allen 2, E/H 8

Q2:  Allen 18, E/H 12

Q3:  Allen 11, E/H 15

Q4:  Allen 10, E/H 3

Points leader for Allen was Bri Hingst with 14.  Haley Stapleton was close behind with 13 total points.  Carly Dickens added 10 pints while Ally Twohig and Alyssia Strivens each had 2.

Bri Hingst was the Lady Eagle leading rebounder with 9 (1 offensive, 8 defensive).  Ally Twohig added 6 rebounds (2 offensive, 4 defensive) while Haley Stapleton and Carly Dickens had 3.  Haley's rebounds were all defensive and Carly had 1 offensive and 2 defensive rebounds.  Bethany Kneifl added a defensive rebound and Alyssa Boese had an offensive rebound.

No assists were recorded during this game.

Haley Stapleton led the team in steals with 3.  Bri Hingst added 2 steals.  Alyssa Boese and Carly Dickens each had 1 steal.
