The Allen Eagles traveled to Emerson-Hubbard to face the Pirates on Thursday January 25, 2018.  Emerson-Hubbard came out strong out scoring the Eagles in the first quarter by 8.  Allen came back outscoring Emerson-Hubbard by 14 points in the 2nd quarter.  It was back and forth between the two teams the last half of the game.  The score was Allen 41, Emerson-Hubbard 43 with seconds left on the clock.  The Eagles were in possession of the ball when Steven Cooks shot up a 2 point buzzer beater bucket for the Eagles, tying the game 43-43.  The Eagles outscored the Pirates 11-7 in overtime.  The final score was Allen 54, E/H 50.

Points leaders for Allen was Noah Carr with 18. Kobe Kumm and Brogan Jones added 10 points for Allen.  Steven Cooks had 6 while Josh Grone and Lukas Oswald had 4.  Reed Hingst put up 2 points during the game for the Eagles.

Brogan Jones and Noah Carr led the Eagles in rebounds with 5 a piece.  Brogan had 1 offensive and 4 defensive while Noah had all defensive rebounds.  Steven Cooks (1 offensive, 2 defensive)  and Josh Grone (2 offensive, 1 defensive) each had 3 rebounds.  Reed Hingst added a defensive rebound for the Eagles.

Noah Carr led Allen in assists with 4.  Kobe Kumm and Lukas Oswald had 3 assists each.  Josh Grone and Steven Cooks each added 2 more assists while Brogan Jones and Reed Hingst had 1.

Steal leaders for the Eagles were Kobe Kumm and Brogan Jones each with 2.  Noah Carr and Josh Grone had one recorded steal each.
