This year, Allen Elementary School will be hosting a week-long celebration of reading and the life of famed author Dr. Seuss. This celebration will take place Monday February 27-Friday March 3rd. Classes will participate in a door decorating contest themed around a favorite class book, dress up days, and activities during library, computer, and reading classes that week themed around Dr. Seuss. Dress Up Days:
Monday: Hats Off to Reading! Students may wear a hat today.
Tuesday: Snuggle Up with A Good Book. Wear your favorite pjs to school.
Wednesday: Be cool...read a book! Wear your coolest pair of sunglasses today.
Thursday: Books come alive because of their characters! Dress as your favorite book character.
Friday: Readers show school spirit! Make sure to wear your blue and gold to show your Eagle pride today!
